Knowledge of Stress with Karen Jespersen

Karin Jespersen is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in acupuncture as preventative healthcare in the corporate setting, along with starting her own practice at Gentle Point. She will present a basic understanding of East Asian Medicine and how it applies to managing emotions, and explaining how our mental health is connected with our physical health. She will dive deeper into how stress-related ailments are directly linked to organ function. Karin will provide instruction for managing stress, discussing diet and lifestyle, along with instructing participants in some simple Qi Gong exercises for emotional self-regulation.
